Published On: October 2, 2018Categories: Biosecurity, Our Team

We currently have jobs available at our family-owned business in Janesville, Wisconsin. Our game bird farm (specializing in pheasants) has been in business since 1929 and we attribute our success to the wonderful employees who have worked here over our long history. We are an equal opportunity employer and want to fill these jobs immediately. We look forward to hearing from you.

Truck Driver to Deliver Game Birds: We have even increased the pay rate for a CDL driver who would make overnight deliveries. You would be paid $25 an hour from the time you leave the farm till you return. The schedule is flexible and you would get a chance to travel through the United States and Canada while driving newer trucks. If you don’t have a CDL, we can help you get your license.

Hatchery Manager: We need a responsible and dependable person to manage our pheasant hatchery. You would lead a team of employees in daily hatchery operations including, but not limited to: traying/setting/candling/transferring eggs, pulling and sexing chicks, ensuring biosecurity and proper sanitation, and record keeping. Some weekend work and “on call” duties will be required, but hatchery experience is NOT a pre-requisite. Send a resume to chris@pheasant.com.
