2026 International Pheasant Management Seminar
We’re excited to announce that the next International Pheasant Management Seminar is scheduled for March 8–11, 2026, at a new location: Lake Lawn Resort in Delavan, Wisconsin.
This seminar will carry special meaning, as it will be the final seminar hosted by Bill MacFarlane before his retirement. After a lifetime of leadership in the game bird industry, Bill will be closing this chapter by sharing insights, stories, and lessons from decades of experience. We invite long-time attendees and first-time guests alike to join us for what promises to be a memorable event.

A Look Back at Our Seminar History
The MacFarlane Pheasants’ International Pheasant Management Seminar began in 1998 as a small gathering focused on idea-sharing and collaboration. Over the years, it has grown into one of the most respected educational events in the game bird industry, drawing attendees from across the country and worldwide.
We’ve welcomed hundreds of guests over the years and covered topics ranging from hatchery and brooder barn management to disease prevention, equipment upgrades, marketing, and more. These seminars have always provided a space for learning, connection, and innovation within the industry.
