Successful Mature Birds Planning for Excellent Deliveries

On August 9, 2018 in Mature Birds by MacFarlane Staff

It is mature bird season at MacFarlane Pheasants! Our customers from all over North America and Canada are anxiously awaiting the arrival of pheasants and partridges from our farm. It takes careful planning to make sure our deliveries run smoothly.

Sarah Baker, the Mature Sales Coordinator, holds daily meetings with key people on the farm to make sure all deliveries run smoothly. They discuss everything from where the birds need to be caught on the farm, what crates customers prefer, what time the truck must leave, and what needs to be done at each drop to ensure a successful delivery.

Team Members

Troy Cisewski organizes the crews and workforce to catch all of the birds needed for deliveries.

Brian Klein chooses what pens the birds come from, and how they need to be loaded on the truck. He is also in charge of making sure all the birds sent out are the highest quality specimens on our farm.

Chris Theisen is in charge of the logistics involved in all of the deliveries.

Sarah Pope oversees all aspects of delivery to make sure everything runs smoothly.

Sarah Baker is the Mature Sales Coordinator and the direct customer contact. Customers let her know how many mature birds they need and when they need them.

The daily meetings keep everyone on the same page. Having all managers meeting daily is the key to a successful season and happy customers. Our customers’ satisfaction is the key to MacFarlane Pheasants’ success and our highest priority. If you have questions, please feel free to contact Sarah Baker at [email protected]
