The Seminar is Over

On March 13, 2010 in General by spope

I have mixed feelings today. I am relieved the seminar is over, but at the same time it’s been such an exciting week, I have some feelings of kind of a let down. The pic to the left is from our opening night dinner this past Sunday night at Prime Quarter – a local grill your own steak restaurant. We have 103 people attend the dinner – it went smoothly.

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday flew by – the days filled with presentations and tours and the evenings spent at various locations – eating dinner with all the attendee’s. There weren’t any hitches to speak of whatsoever. The presentations went well and the attendee’s seemed to be happy with the pace and content.

We had a couple attend from Israel, 17 from the U.K. and several from Canada plus about 50 U.S. attendee’s.

Thursday the bulk of the U.K. contingent went to Chicago – Dori and I met them for dinner Thursday night at the Capital Grille (www.thecapitalgrille.com) and then we stayed overnight. Friday we went as a group on an architectural tour of downtown Chicago (www.caf.architecture.org). Then we went to the top of the Willis Building (formerly the Sears Tower), went to lunch and then dropped off the group at O’Hare – for their flight back to London.

It was an awesome week. I am glad for things to get back to normal though.
