Tell me about your family. Are you married? Do you have kids? Any pets?
I come from a large farming family – my dad had 10 siblings so there are lots of aunt and uncles and cousins. In my immediate family there are six of us, my parents just celebrated their 30 wedding anniversary. I am not married… yet! No kids and unfortunately, no pets but I did grow up with golden retrievers.

Where are you from?
I am from Clinton, Wis but grew up near Janesville so I was always aware of the pheasant farm.

Do you have any siblings?
I have a 29-year-old sister, a 12-year-old sister and a 24 yr old brother.

Where was your first job?
My first job was waitressing in Clinton. I started when I was 16 years old and worked there until I graduated from high school in 2005 and then I also worked there while I was home from college.

Where did you go to school? What is your degree in?
I graduated from UW-La Crosse in 2009 and had a major in Political Science and a double minor in Public Administration and German… Ich spreche Deutsche!

How long have you worked at MacFarlane Pheasants?
I have worked here since January of 2010.

What is your job title there?
I have had many different “hats” at MacFarlane’s. I started out as the Chick Sales Coordinator, then consumed the Dressed Bird Division along with handling the egg and chick sales and now I am the office manager and oversee the sales team.

If MacFarlane’s isn’t your dream job, what is?
Well, my dream job would be to lay on the beach every day and get paid for it.

How do you like to spend your free time?
In my free time, I like to try new restaurants, travel, and sorry for the cliche but I like to shop.

Did you have a fun nickname growing up? What was it?
My uncle gave me the nickname of DooDoo growing up. There isn’t a story behind it and yes, my family still calls me that.

What is the strangest (craziest, weirdest, most dangerous) thing you’ve ever done?
I haven’t gone on the wild side much, I am pretty straight-laced, but I would like to skydive.

How would you describe yourself in 5 words?
Outgoing, intelligent, dependable, organized, stylish

If there’s anything else interesting you’d like to share, then by all means add it in!
My favorite part of the job is traveling around for the Conventions and shows. I currently help Bill organize the NAGA Convention and I am in charge of the 2014 MacFarlane Seminar, which we all are looking forward to!
