MacFarlane Pheasants Inc. strives to produce the best product available for our customers. Delivery of our product must be done in a timely manner, and in our continued quest for excellence, we depend on having reliable equipment. One can have the best product on the market, but if that product does not reach the customer, and the quality of that product is compromised, then business is lost. Therefore it is important to continue to make timely deliveries by investing in new and reliable equipment.

In 2011, MacFarlane Pheasants will add a 2012 Kenworth T370 truck, and a 2012 Freightliner M2 truck, which replaces the two older trucks currently in the fleet. The fleet of MacFarlane trucks consists primarily of the Freightliners, Ford 550 truck, Chevrolet 3500 truck , Chevrolet 3500 vans, and a Dodge Sprinter. The Kenworth truck will be a heavy duty, class 7, and will stand up nicely to the MacFarlane pheasant work load. The Kenworth brand also brings strength and reliability in the trucking industry and will be a nice addition, synonymous with MacFarlane Pheasants.

The specifications of the Kenworth T370 are as follows; PX-8 engine, 8.6 liter, 240-330 horsepower, 660-1000 lb of torque. The transmission is an Allison 6 speed automatic. Fuel capacity is 135 gallons, Frame – 10 5/8 in. steel, heat treated with a 120000 PSI. Air brakes and a locking rear differential complete the overall ability of the vehicle. MacFarlane Pheasants Inc. customers expect a quality product, and with the investment in quality equipment, MacFarlane pheasants will be able to continue to meet all these expectations.
