Humane Treatment of Animals

Our birds are placed at lower than standard densities, and given constant access to quality feed, water and cover.We allow proper space and protection for all of our birds.

After the chicks are 2 or 3 weeks old chicks are allowed outside during the daytime, during this time our chicks are allowed 1- 2 square feet per bird. After the birds are 4-5 weeks old we allow them 25 square feet per bird.

When shipping day old chicks, we insulate them and place nutrients in the boxes as well as using environmentally controlled vehicles to assure proper temperature control.

When shipping birds we consider how many birds are shipped in each container based on temperature needed to keep birds safe as well as space inside the shipping container.
